Hickory Hills house fire: Roberts Park FPD 12-26-12

This message comes directly from Martin Nowak: --- I just got to the scene of the Roberts Park Full Still House Fire at 9016 Christina Drive in Hickory Hills, IL 60457. By the time I arrived, it had already been over 20 minutes since the first responding units were on-site, and thankfully, the fire was already under control. I took some photos while I was there, and you can expect to see more detailed images on my website soon. Mutual aid came from several neighboring departments, including North Palos, Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, and Evergreen Park. One interesting note is that the last photo I snapped was of a brand-new Hickory Hills police car blocking the road—pretty cool! Here’s what I captured so far: --- ![](image_link) *Caption: A view of the Hickory Hills house fire.
