Recently, WE Tech Solutions received an order to deliver a permanent magnet shaft generator solution for a 45,000 cubic meter LNG ship, which is expected to be delivered in October 2016.
The owner of this LNG ship is Saga LNG Shipping Company, which was built by China Merchants Heavy Industry.

It is reported that the WE drive technology enables the shaft generator to operate throughout the entire main engine speed range, providing efficient power supply to the ship's power grid. In the PTO mode, it can provide up to 1200 kW of power to the ship's power grid.
