Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation held a national new product technology appraisal meeting in Xi’an. The meeting identified the “KGWF-6250/±800 UHV DC transmission valve†developed by China Xidian University. The appraisal committee consists of 19 industry experts including the academician Wang Xifan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The appraisal committee heard reports on the design, development and testing of the 6250A converter valve, reviewed the relevant technical documents, conducted field tests, and inspected the production process and test conditions. It believed that the product had independent intellectual property rights and the overall technical indicators were leading internationally. Can be used for practical projects. Based on this project, China Xideng successfully developed key components such as thyristors and saturated reactors for the 6250A converter valve and simulation load for insulation tests, and completed a comprehensive upgrade of the converter valve design platform, test platform, and production line. Renovation, set up a converter valve design calculation and simulation platform and model library.
