The accuracy and reliability of pressure measurements are closely related to the selection and use of pressure gauges. If you choose not to use it properly, it will not only accurately reflect the size of the pressure, it may also cause production accidents. According to the requirement of pressure measurement in the process of production, according to the economic principle, the type, model, range, accuracy level and other aspects of the instrument should be reasonably selected. When choosing, it should mainly be considered from the following three aspects:

1 Selection of instrument types: mainly from the aspects that can meet the requirements of process production and price. For example, is it necessary to indicate locally or need remote transmission, automatic recording or alarm; whether the physical and chemical properties of the measured medium (such as corrosiveness, temperature, viscosity, degree of contamination, flammable and explosive, etc.) are special to the measuring instrument? Requirements; on-site environmental conditions (such as high temperature, electromagnetic field, vibration and other field installation conditions) are special requirements for the type of instrument.

2 Determination of the measuring range of the instrument: In order to balance the service life of the pressure gauge and have sufficient measurement accuracy, the principle of choosing the pressure gauge range is used: when measuring more stable pressure, the measured pressure value should be within the upper limit of the pressure gauge measurement. 2/3 places. When measuring pulsating pressure, the measured pressure value should be at 1/2 of the upper limit of the pressure gauge measurement. Under normal circumstances, the measured pressure should not be less than 1/3 of the upper limit of the pressure gauge.

3 Selection of instrument accuracy grade: It is mainly determined based on the maximum allowable error in production. In general, the higher the instrument accuracy level, the more expensive the price and the higher the operational maintenance requirements. Therefore, the selection should be based on the premise of meeting the requirements, as far as possible the use of low precision, simple structure, cheap and durable pressure gauge.

(2) In order to prevent air leakage, seals should be added when installing the pressure gauge.

(3) Pressure gauges should be installed in places that are easy to observe and repair.

(4) Silicon oil for pressure resistant pressure gauges should be around 2/3, not too full, or thermal expansion in summer may cause the dial to rupture, and it cannot be installed too little, otherwise it will not achieve shock resistance.
