The common transportation modes commonly used in China's marble mines include road development, single-vehicle transportation, slope-rolling trolleys, and joint transportation, mast-lifting and joint development, cable cranes, transportation, and chute development. The choice of developing transportation methods depends on the conditions of the ore body, the size of the mine and the economic factors.
The stripping work is mainly to strip off the covering soil and weathering layer on the marble ore body, peel off the interlayer, surrounding rock and the broken marble which has no mining value due to the development of joint cracks, expose the marble ore body and prepare for the mining work. Commonly used bulldozers, loaders, automobiles, etc., small mines are often used for manual loading, trolley transportation, transporting waste to the waste rock yard or comprehensive utilization.
