Imports of fasteners in Japan increased by more than 10% in 2011

According to the latest statistics from Japan's Ministry of Finance, Japan imported fastener products (HS: 7317-7318, 7415-screws, bolts, nuts, washers, nails, rivets, etc.) for the year 2011, a total of 313,300 tons, compared with 27.98 in 2010. Ten thousand tons increased by 10.9%; import value totaled 81.903 billion yen, an increase of 11.07% from 73.737 billion yuan in 2010.
