Chemical Industry Outstanding Engineering Consultation Achievement Award Announced 28 Project Consulting Achievements Awards

On September 19, the China Petroleum and Chemicals Survey and Design Association and the China Chemical Engineering Professional Committee of the Engineering Consulting Association announced the results of the 2005 Chemical Industry Outstanding Engineering Consultation Achievement Award. 28 engineering consulting achievements were awarded.
Among them, there are 5 first-prize awards, including the petrochemical development plan for the Xinjiang Autonomous Region 2004-2010 for the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute (Sinochem International Consulting Company) and the Shenhua Group Direct Liquefaction Project of Shenhua Group Co., Ltd. of Wuhuan Technology Co., Ltd. The Environmental Impact Report, the feasibility study of the 50,000-ton toluene diisocyanate (TDI) project produced by Cangzhou Dahua TDI Co., Ltd., the second design institute of the chemical industry, and the 30,000 Urumqi Petrochemical Plant of Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. Ton/year high-pressure melamine plant feasibility study report, China Ryukyu Engineering Company's CNOOC degradable carbon dioxide project pre-feasibility study report; 9 second prize, including the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute of the chemical industry construction project financial evaluation Parameter estimation study report, adjustment plan for raw materials and power structure of nitrogen fertilizer industry, feasibility study report of 20,000 tons/year maleic anhydride project (n-butane method) of Lanzhou Refining & Chemical Engineering Plant of Tianjin Chemical Engineering Design Institute, etc.; 14th prize for third place , including Beijing Chemical Engineering Design Institute's Beijing Chemical Factory Research report on feasibility of the 1.2 million tons/year ammonium phosphate project of Yunnan Sanhuan Chemical Co., Ltd. of Wuhuan Technology Co., Ltd., etc.

Cooling tower filler are vacuum-formed and glued together in a way that provides adequate space to avoid scaling and clogging. Thus, the water can be evenly distributed to insure high heat exchange efficiency. Each layer of filling blocks has steel supporters to prevent from deforming and falling off. The bottom is designed with suspended supporters to avoid depositing various objects and scaling so that cooling towers can be at ease of maintenance and cleaning. PVC fillings are suitable for operation with inlet water temperature up to 47°C. C.P.V.C. or P.P fillings can be used as an option for situations with higher water temperature
