It is difficult to make money by selling cars alone

Based on this, FAW Toyota has also launched a five-year "reassuring owner action" through the platform of the Guangzhou auto show with the aim of eliminating consumer concerns. The action plan proposes that whether it is an existing car owner or a new car purchase customer in the next 5 years, before December 31, 2017, if there is a loss caused by malicious destruction due to a group incident, the repair cost will be borne by FAW Toyota and the maximum amount will be comparable. For the actual value of the car, when the personnel in the car are injured, FAW Toyota provides treatment costs and compensation for lost work, each person can receive up to 200,000 yuan in compensation.

Tian wise said that by providing customers with quality services and more added value, it will be the growth point of domestic auto companies in the future. He said: "In the future in China, it is very difficult to make money by selling cars. No company can make money by selling cars. What do we rely on to make money, rely on services, and rely on the value chain?" According to reports, FAW Toyota has One-third of the stores don't sell one car and they can maintain normal expenses. To this end, Tian smart hopes that the proportion will continue to increase in the future.

The next goal is to make a well-known joint venture

For the market's judgment next year, Tian Ming acknowledged that FAW Toyota is more conservative. He said: “The explosive growth possibility in the Chinese market is no longer present, but taking into account the market upgrade next year, the target is still positioned at 6%-10%. Market growth."

Tian said that although FAW Toyota has been relatively slow in introducing and updating new products in recent years, in reality, FAW Toyota’s product line is very rich and it is the core of the Toyota brand. In addition, Tian Ming explicitly told reporters: "Our next goal is very clear, that is, we must be well-known independent brands."

Tian Ming said that compared to joint venture brands or other brands, FAW Toyota's production model is different from others, but will continue to enhance its own research and development capabilities. He told reporters that the modified Corolla listed on the auto show will, to a certain extent, be able to combine the elements created by FAW Toyota. He said: “The Corolla rose from more than 4,000 vehicles in 2010 to more than 10,000 units and maintained more than 10,000 sales. This is the brand we developed through our joint venture.”

In addition, Tian smart also mentioned that both FAW Toyota and its partners have felt that the market for their own brands is still very large. At the same time, FAW Toyota has also been committed to the development of talent localization, and more and more attention to independent research and development. However, Tian also said that at the moment, without relying on foreign parties, completely independent R&D is still unlikely.
