WSS introduces an innovative approach to dealing with ship boiler failures

Recently, Wilson Ship Service (WSS) introduced an innovative approach to dealing with ship boiler failures.

This new automated boiler feedwater metering solution will be based on digital, cloud-based methods that will change boiler water treatment methods, reliability and shore-based insights.

It is reported that boiler failure is an everlasting danger in the market, and the repair cost is usually as high as 80,000 to 180,000 US dollars, and this is still the case without considering the suspension of the relevant ship.

The new digital, cloud-based automated boiler feedwater metering solution is designed to reduce the risk of boiler failure, eliminate crew routine and often inaccurate testing, and provide connectivity that facilitates onshore and offshore data sharing.

According to pre-set limits, Wilson Marine Services' digital solution will continuously extract boiler feed water pH, conductivity, temperature and redox potential (ORP) before metering with two separate chemicals. The reading works.
