It is ideal for various applications in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. **Operating Principle** This sanitary butterfly valve can be operated either remotely via an actuator or manually using a handle. The actuator comes in three standard types: Normally Closed (NC), Normally Open (NO), and Air-to-Air Activated (A/A). The actuator converts the linear motion of a piston into a 90° rotation of the valve shaft. When the valve disc makes contact with the gasket, the actuator’s torque increases, allowing the valve to close properly. The valve can also be mechanically locked in open, closed, or intermediate positions by selecting different handle options, enabling precise flow control. **Technical Data**
