Gravity Separation 6-S Shaking Table
The 6-S Shaking Table, also known as a table concentrator, is a gravity-based mineral separation device designed for fine minerals. It is widely used in the processing of precious and base metals, rare metals, and non-metallic minerals. This equipment is especially effective for the separation of Gold, Silver, Tin, Columbium, Tantalum, Titanium, Barium, Tungsten, Iron, Chrome, Manganese, Zircon, Lead, Zinc, Mercury, Copper, Aluminum, and many more.
The operation involves feeding raw materials into a launder and mixing them with water to create a slurry of 20% to 25% concentration. The slurry then flows onto the shaking table deck. As the water rinses and the deck shakes, the particles become loose and layered. Due to differences in density, size, and friction, lighter particles move toward the tailing side, while heavier particles accumulate on the concentrate side. This process results in a fan-shaped distribution of mineral particles along the diagonal of the feed launder, allowing for precise production of multiple product grades.
One of the key advantages of the shaking table is its high recovery rate and concentration ratio. After the initial separation, it can produce final concentrate, tailings, and one or two types of middling products. For low-grade ores like tungsten and tin, the enrichment ratio can reach up to 300 times. The effective particle size range for metallic ores is between 2 mm and 0.02 mm.

Construction and Mechanical Features:
The head motion of the Gandong shaking tables is fully enclosed and self-lubricated, using heavy cast iron with an oil reservoir for splash lubrication. This design protects moving parts and minimizes maintenance costs. The decks are constructed with a steel framework and covered with 16mm fiberglass, providing high strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and durability. Support types include traditional, 10# channel steel, or 20# channel steel.
Feed and Water Box:
A wooden feed distributing box with a hopper and a long water box are attached to the deck frame, ensuring even distribution of feed and water.

- Coarse Ore Deck: For particles ranging from 0.5 mm to 2 mm
- Fine Sand Deck: For particles ranging from 0.074 mm to 0.5 mm
- Slime Deck: For ultra-fine particles ranging from 0.02 mm to 0.074 mm
