There are two main ways to mount the pump—either directly on the truck using PTO drive or on the trailer with a pony motor. Each application has different handling characteristics.
These trucks are commonly used by towns and municipalities for street cleanup, sewer maintenance, individual septic systems, and can also be used for cleaning contaminated soil.
