The Qinghai-Tibet plateau and the northwest region where the Yellow River Hydropower Company is located contain extremely rich solar energy resources, especially the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has a reputation as a “solar capital†and there are inexhaustible and inexhaustible solar energy resources. After more than four years of preparatory construction, in July 2010, the Yellow River Hydropower Company opened a production line of polysilicon production projects with an annual output of 1,250 tons of polysilicon and smoothly carried out trial feeding. At present, public and auxiliary devices are operating stably, and the operation of the main process devices is getting better and better. During the trial run, the project team carried out a large number of process equipment improvements, pipeline adjustments, and optimization of technical parameters. It overcomes many difficulties that have never been encountered, and achieved safe and stable operation of feeding and testing in various installation areas. During the construction and commissioning of the project, there was no construction safety accident and quality accident at the site. The safety management achieved “seven does not happen†and the project quality pass rate was 100%.
At present, the polysilicon process system of the Yellow River Hydropower Co., Ltd. is fully open, with an annual production capacity of 1,250 tons. As of March 31, a total of 146 tons of polysilicon was produced, and the product quality was basically stable in the solar second-class products and first-class products. The main indicators of the products entered the electronic range. The commissioning of this project will become the first truly electronic grade polysilicon product line in China.
