Working fire in Chicago, 5-22-17

Here's a message from Drew Gresik:

On May 22, 2017, the 23rd Battalion of the Chicago Fire Department was dispatched on a Still Alarm to 88th and Eberhart for a reported house fire. Engine Company 82 and Truck Company 42 were first on scene and found a two-story frame house, measuring 25x50 feet, at 501 E 88th Street. The structure was engulfed in heavy fire on the second floor and in the cockloft of the balloon-frame home. Firefighters deployed three lines and set up two main ladders to the roof. They worked at the scene for approximately 1.5 hours before they were able to contain the fire. The house was occupied at the time, and one family was displaced as a result. Companies on the scene included: E82, E122, T42, TL34, BN23, Sq5, 2-7-5, RIT, T30, BN19, A37, A60, 4-5-6, OFI 4-6-6.
