Su Bo, vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out in particular that to achieve green development of energy equipment, first, we must vigorously develop efficient and clean coal-fired power generation equipment; second, develop advanced transmission technology and equipment, and vigorously develop UHV; and third, develop a smart grid.
According to industry insiders, this is the first time that senior officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have made public statements on the development of smart grids and UHVs in public.
In vigorously developing the new energy equipment industry, Su Bo said that the most important thing now is to accelerate the development of new energy equipment that is technologically advanced, clean and safe, and economically reasonable, such as: research and development of solar cells and heat utilization equipment with independent intellectual property rights, and Megawatt-level solar power station inverter and control system; master design and manufacturing technology of large-scale megawatt wind turbines with complete independent intellectual property rights and key components.
Referring to the development of nuclear power, Su Bo pointed out that nuclear power equipment and service industries should be driven by advanced nuclear power projects, and the realization of key manufacturing of key equipment such as large forgings, pressure vessels, DCS control systems, and nuclear power pump valves should be accelerated.
In terms of accelerating the promotion of green and low-carbon development of energy equipment, Su Bo believes that first, we must vigorously develop efficient and clean coal-fired power generation equipment. The second is the development of advanced transmission technology and equipment. "Strive to develop UHV and other large-capacity, high-efficiency advanced transmission technology and equipment, and reduce the loss of large-scale, cross-regional transmission lines." The third is the development of smart grid. The smart grid can be effectively compatible with intermittent new energy sources such as wind energy and solar energy, and can enhance the connection between the power demand side and the supply side, and improve the transmission and distribution efficiency.
Su Bo emphasized that we must strengthen the construction of a smart grid standard system and promote the development of key equipment for smart grids such as high-power energy storage and flexible transmission. At the same time, we must also vigorously develop other new types of energy equipment, such as advanced key natural gas and long-distance pipeline yard technical equipment, new oil and gas exploration and exploitation equipment, coal and other non-coal energy comprehensive utilization equipment.
In addition, we must also vigorously develop related support technologies and equipment for energy equipment manufacturing. Su Bo said that taking solar photovoltaic as an example, the output of solar photovoltaic cells in China ranks first in the world, but key equipment such as screen printers and high-temperature sintering furnaces still mainly rely on imports, which greatly increases the investment and production costs of solar photovoltaic cells in China. . This urgently needs to accelerate the development of basic equipment for energy equipment manufacturing and industrialization, and effectively improve the industry's ability to independently develop.
