A request for some information

To whom it may concern, I hope this message finds you well. I've really enjoyed exploring the historical photos shared on the Chicago Area Fire site, and I wanted to reach out with a few images I’ve come across while researching my family history. These photos have sparked my curiosity, and I was advised to share them here in hopes of getting some expert insights. I recently came across three photographs that I believe might be from the early 1920s. Based on what I know about my great-grandfather’s service, which began in 1918 and included his involvement in the Curran Hall Fire of 1924, I suspect these photos could date back to that time period. It's possible they depict members of Engine Company 5, though I'm not entirely certain. I’m still learning about the uniforms, equipment, and specific details of the fire departments from that era, so I would greatly appreciate any guidance or information you might have. If anyone has expertise in this area, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the dates, identities, or historical context of the photos. Thank you in advance for your time and help. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Anne
